Congratulations Mike, well deserved, IMO your marriage of CNC process and moku-hanga techniques is one of the true innovative changes in the printmaking world in the past ten years. Your large output of 'BIG' prints is unmatched in the Art world.
Congratulations again, looking forward to reading the book.....Julio

I dunno, Julio -- I had a chance to look at the book -- there are a number
of SUPER-interesting artists and processes documented, and a history going
back at least to the early 1960's -- I had NO idea! There's one guy,
Hebert, I'd LOVE to meet! He may be living in Santa Barbara at the moment,
but his work is pretty fundamental and interesting as hell! (why don't we
say interesting as heaven, I wonder, when we want emphasis?)... The volume
itself really is pretty spectacular. I'm chapter 10. There's a LOT of
good stuff and great descriptions and only a handful of familiar faces.
Many of those illustrated seem to contemplate the same sort of ideas which
is interesting... Anyway, the book is beautiful - Amazon says it'll be
shipping in early August.

Happy Birthday, Merry Christmas and Happy Anniversary. You are an
inspiration for us all. Congratulations. I intend to buy the book.
