Forgive me if this topic has been discussed, I am new to the group. The interesting discussion on properties of different wood for blocks led me to wonder what are the best ways to maintain & store your blocks after you have run all your prints? Do different woods have different requirements for storing?
My thanks

... this, but it's worth sharing if you work with paper. I think this
list understands 'passion' about what we do.

Yesterday I went to see "The Artist's Touch and the Craftsman's Hand" exhibit at the Portland Art Museum (portlandartmuseum.org) It's 3 centuries of Japanese Prints. There were 250 prints in the exhibit and the accompanying book. If you are anywhere near Portland, I want to urge you to make the effort to see this show. It will up until January 22.

how about boxwood? - I heard its the best wood for woodblock, never tried
it though.

Few years ago I saw an amazing exhibition of Dali's woodblocks, really
unbelievable.
I didn't know what i was watching and went out convinced that was
aquarells, few days later some told me that it was woodblocks and I went
back to examine. I stared at the prints and still couldn't believe it was a
woodblocks.
And it was on boxwood, Dali haven't printed it himself. It was beyond my
understanding.
