Not only am I in, my prints for #50 are done and with our trusty
coordinator. It was a lot to do over 100 prints. Please do let the
coordinator know, communication is important. I'm busy too guys. I did
#49, #50 and have a carved block sitting next to me for Maria's City
of the World that should go out in the mail today. Sorry, the one
thing I have set aside is my year of the rabbit block. It only needs
printing. Unfortunately other matters take precedence, it will get
done when I can. Apologies for those who have sent me their rabbit
prints. But it is sort of fun to get them through out the year and
beyond.
The one thing I did with both my #49 and $50 prints was to use etching
ink instead of relief ink. I discovered that I really like using
etching ink that is thinned down. It was nice to roll in thin layers
and I felt I got more wood grain using it. I had bot a can of black
and a can of sepia, liked the sepia a lot. Barbara Mason always says
roll from the middle out and use thin layers. Excellent advice, you do
not clog up details and you have a better chance of getting a wood
grain to show through. I realize some folks like smooth prints. I like
to let people see the wood, love the smell of it, the touch of it and
especially the grain of it.
Can't wait to get my exchange prints. Monica, I sent yo an email and
filled out the colophon. I know I did it before, but well computers???
Gayle you should have my colophon info and Maria I sent you one
yesterday.

Still here, still participating, just cutting the block, then print, then
willing the ink to dry, tidy them up and see if I can find an efficient
postmaster.
All the best
