I was amazed and surprised to RECEIVE (!!!) the first packet of
completed prints earlier this week! Dan Williams is to be
congratulated! I hope he'll say hello to us all soon!

Sharen,

Daniel Williams and D.B. williams are one in the same i'm guessing. They
are both me...unless there is another daniel williams or d.b. williams - you
can delete one of those names off the list. I'm not sure how i'm signed up
twice?

Hi all,

I see that this message went out to the entire group. I have yet to log
into the baren forum and send a message from the homepage, but it looks like
email works as well - Great!.

I am new to Baren as of the last month.'

I've been an artist - painter, sculptor, writer on occasion and printmaker
for the last 16 years of my life - 28 now. I attended DSA (durham school of
the arts) in N.C. for middle and high school, then attended UNC - CH
followed by a masters degree in business - I know ughhh.

I found relief and joy in the act of creation. I have a very difficult time
sitting still and watching tele or any such activity, so most nights and
weekends my second job is the act of creation. I love color color and sharp
contrasts in works of art - thus i tend to highlight visual disturbances in
pieces.

I've been working primarily on hand rolled prints for the last six months -
having done many before - but this has been my primary focus as of late. I
found the baren website - absolutely love and respect art - and decided that
participation was right up my alley.
