Andrew,
Maybe this is helpful. I just completed a reduction print and posted pics of
each step here.
This was a fairly straight forward reduction print. I usually print the
lighter colors first but in this print I started with the darkest color and
built up translucent lighter layers on top of it. For the last layer I used
a stencil just so I didn't spend a lot of time carving away waste areas.

I hope this doesn't offend anyone. I need advice on paper restoration.
I acquired a 45 year old woodcut that has a significant surface tear
in the paper. Not all the way through. Done on good hosho paper. I
just need to know of a good place. If anyone has advice on cost,
experience? I've narrowed my search to a place in LA. They say this
guy is THE paper restoration man. Thanks in advance! His name is
Gustavo. Restorations by heart....

Most museums have someone or can recommend someone so if Gustavo is to expensive this is the next step. It takes a long time as they are usually backed up with work and it is not cheap.

This is a reprint of an old block for the Loscon Artshow last Nov.  Love the stars.  One of my larger blocks.

This should have posted to the Nov. slot, but I guess you have to have something on the page to reserve the slot, so it posted here.

Going thru and adding labels to posts.  There are hundreds.  This is going to take some time.
