Thank you AEleen and Members of Exchange #39. After being gone for
two weeks in Iowa with the death of my mother, it was wonderful
coming home to all the beautiful tree prints. I had been so looking
forward to seeing them and was comforted to sit, relax, and be with
my Baren friends through their works. Being a part of this group
touched me once again in a huge way.

I wanted to thank Aeleen for coordinationg and all the participants who made prints for  Exchange 39. It's a great bunch of prints with some very interesting work, especially from the folks who don't usually, or never have done M.Hanga-style printing.  I was very pleased with the obvious amount of thought and effort that went in to the works that were actually finished (we had a lot of drop-outs).  It was also nice to be able to check out lots of different papers--some of which I had been curious about trying. Nice work, some beautiful prints and some great, bold colors.   I'm glad to be included in such company.

It seems most appropriate on April Fools' Day to launch my new series of
woodblock prints based on the Commedia dell' arte.

Six of the characters have been uploaded to my 'Latest work April 2009"
section on my website.
