Thank you Carol for resending the link to Eric Gill. I had missed it
and really enjoyed seeing his work. I especially loved his white line
pieces. It reminded me instantly of Picasso's line work. Simple
elegant and sensual line. We all have our approaches to creating.
Experimenting is definitely one happy direction. Without it we do not
discover new ways of doing things. I think most truly great artists
have gone into experimenting to find new and different ways of
creating their art.

Exchange #37 and #37a are merrily in progress, I hope everyone is busy
printing. The deadline is August 1st, which seems years away but it is
coming right up in 6 weeks!
Remember to send an extra print if you want to participate in the Wanda
Robertson Memorial Portfolio.
I have three sets of prints here already.
Starting next week I will be bugging everyone weekly to check on progress
and report on new arrivals. If your email address has changed since you
signed up, please let me know.

Exchange #38, an open theme Oban exchange, opens for sign ups July 1st,
2008, in about a week. Please be sure you will be able to deliver prints by
November 1st before signing up.

AND FINALLY The CAIRN is being packed and mailed THIS WEEK!
I'm awaiting the Kinko's copies of the colophon that will be included with
the print and printing mailing labels. Foreign participants will be mailed
first, starting Wednesday. All others out by Friday this week.
