Hello, I proposed the Human Rights topic for # 37 exchange, maybe it sounds too serious so I will vote for the Voyage.
Please explain more of the Fool theme, I do not quite understand aside from the Joker or Harlequin.

Jurgen, it is interesting that you bring up freedom of travel.
My son is in the army. One day a few years ago he told my husband and me which road to go on to go visit him about two hours drive south of here. Because we are civilians, we didn't feel it was necessary for us to follow his orders and go on that road. Instead, we went on a different road, because we missed the turnoff to the one he had recommended. It did not even occur to me that it was necessary for us to follow his directions, but he expressed disappointment that we had chosen our own road. We did find that everyone along the road we had chosen was speaking a different language from us, so if we had gotten lost, we might not have been able to get directions to our destination.
Of course, if he had been a police officer in uniform, directing traffic out there on the highway, we would have done what he requested, and traveled on the road he recommended. In fact, I think that is required by law, since they have things like roadblocks around emergencies and they do not want civilians or anyone going past those roadblocks. If a person did that, they might find themselves driving right up to an overturned tanker leaking sulphur gas, for example, so it is really something you do not want to do.
Sorry this if off the topic of printmaking. We can talk about this on After 5, if you wish.
I prefer "Green."

Guadalupe,
Human Rights as a theme is not too serious for me. It may be too political :o). However, I feel much can be done using ideas of Human Rights and Peace in other themes, for example, highlighting Human Rights problems or solutions in a print of a Voyage.
The Fool is silly. They laugh at themselves, others laugh at them. They act silly and thoughtlessly. Sometimes they are called "empty-headed."
And then there is the situation of falling in love with someone. You become a fool for them (that is, you can't resist their attraction, and say and do things you otherwise wouldn't do).
Cheers on a cold, northern morning, to you, G !
