"If I do 25 x 25 cm or 9.89 x 9.89 inches I can take 4 prints from a
sheet."
I'm not in the exchange but if I were I would prefer a slightly smaller
print on Fabriano than a perfectly sized one on bond!!!!!
We can all relate to the need to get as many prints from from each sheet of
paper as possible. In my book less than 1/4 of an inch is not enough to
warrant one print per sheet instead of 4 prints per sheet. But if it were
more than 1/4 inch over it could be a problem. In the first exchange I
participated in a few of the prints were larger than the perfectly sized
book I purchased to mount them in. Rather than cut the lovely borders I
opted to allow the top of the larger prints to stick out from the top of
the book. Not so perfect a solution as a few weeks ago I noticed a thick
layer of dust gathering on those sheets that stick out.
I think we also have to allow forgiveness in sizing variations as there is
so much variety in our membership's native languages!
Cheers,
Patti
