Great explanation, Diane! And I think we've had the "refuse" (French
pronunciation there) several times
over the last 32 exchanges. Just think of it - more than 660 prints
have been produced and changed hands in those exchanges & believe
me there are some really fantastic ones, and some sweet ones, and
prints that some of us (me) have produced
that were not the best we could do. But exciting and fun and
productive? Yes! Hooray for the "wait list" people!
May they all have the enthusiasm that Mark has!

Dave, I am really upset about these missing messages, all weekend long I
was looking forward to enjoying my Baren messages and I only received '19'
of them. All that time and money wasted (DSL is expensive here !). I am so
upset right now that from now on I am only going to send Baren messages to
the people I receive messages from.

Is there a firm deadline for the people whose messages got lost to resend
them ?

Hey, I think that that idea for Charles Morgan to make a book on "creating your own Printmaking tools" should be carried out.
I am willing to compile all kinds of these great ideas and photos and make a manual for people to use. We could get it printed through www.lulu.com.
If anyone is interested in helping get in touch with me!
I would like to see some authors and creators of these ingenuous devices submit the work.
Like Graham A. Scholes Hori-Dai carving bench, Mike Lyons Humid-drawer and other magnificent inventions,
my own personal secrets would be revealed of course.
How to make your own barens....etc
All credit for the inventions could and would be noted in the manual.....
Any one? Any takers? Any one out there? Is this things on?

Oh and is it me or when I read or use the term "that that" in a sentence it just seems sort of wrong?

sorry to post this on-list but I don't have marilynn's direct email.

Marilynn, I definitely sent you a year of the dog print. As always, I sent to the entire list. I sent my prints out quite early for year of the dog. It is a solarplate etching called "Fetching the Moment" and has three dogs in a row.
