I was so glad to meet our warm and charming Bea Gold when I went to her
retrospective exhibit in L. A.
We greeted as long lost friends because of our Baren computer familiarity.
Sorry to miss Ellen and Georga, who were coming later in the week.

It was a large impressive show of Bea's paintings through the years, and an
entire room of her woodblock prints. Several of the woodblock prints I was
pleased to actually own and I also recognized from the Baren Exchanges.

Congratulations to Bea for the successful display. And to my daughter Lisa,
many thanks for driving me on the frustrating freeways of L.A. I wouldn't
brave that myself. All my risk is on paper.

Thanks so much for the report Carol! I know a bunch of people up here
that would have given their eye teeth to have been there! We are all

Thanks Carol, It was great meeting you in person. The show has been going
very well with paintings and prints selling well. Two more weeks and then
everything has to be sent back. Georga and Ellen came later that day and my
birthday party at the gallery was yesterday. It was wonderful. I am
exhausted but happy. Bea
