Welcome to all the newcomers! It's fun to see your various works, so
thanks for posting links.

Harry, what interesting prints you've been doing with acrylic and a
power drill! Are you printing these by hand or with a press? I love
the way you keep experimenting.

I'm so enjoying receiving all the pigs and boars in my mailbox.
Thanks everyone, and Happy new year to all.

Annie

Interesting results, wonder how that woule work with my electric carver,
guess I would have to try it to find out huh??

You guys make me want to be up north where the piggies are arriving at my
post office. It will be a mountain of them by Aril or May when we go back.
I can't wait to see the wonderful things everyone has been doing.

I just wanted to comment on the way to mail the Year of Cards...You know
all those junk mail flyers and ads that get stuffed, crammed and mashed
into your mailbox? Well I have found Year of Cards that slipped between
the pages of multipage flyers, catalogs and sales ads that I was about to
toss into the garbage. As I've yet to get a full collection (my friend
Carol Wagner has a few cards every year that I never saw in my mailbox) I
suspect that mine arrived but were tossed with junk mail that they
co-mingled into...That is the danger in sending them as a postcard, they
are small enough that they can easily get lost in junkmail or in the no
man's land of the postal service "lost mail void..." I've also had a few
come in mangled, and I mean mangled to peices. Just something to keep in
mind when deciding how to send your cards out.

Now, as for last year's cards, I appologize for not getting mine to you all
in a timely manner. My mother was diagnosed with lung cancer early in the
year and quickly deteriorated, we lost her in August, so I have been in a
total other zone for the past year (on top of being in grad school). Now
that I have a semester break I'm scrambling to get them printed (the plate
has been ready for several months). I just have to decide if I want to
mail them in the next month or hold on to them and mail them with my
Crushing Bore...

Love those piggies! Keep 'em comin'
