I been part of Baren for about a year now and because of work and my writing
I have not been contributing to discussions here on the forum. But with the
November 6th election coming up I thought that would be a good idea to have
a theme related to the election instead of no-theme for Exchange #30
(sign-up Jul 1, 2006 due Nov 1, 2006). I know that this suggestion might be
a little late in coming but hope it might be considered. A possible title
might be “The Powers that Prevail…”. As you know, printmaking has had a
long and strong history as a vehicle of communication for speaking out. I
have been in two exchanges with Baren here: one was Dreams, and the other
was Mystical Beasts.

I have found and I express that when an artist invests passion into their
work, even if it is about something that opposes viewers' interests, that if
it is done well and has passion, it has a voice regardless… Nov 6th
election, political print exchange deadline Nov 1st. any takers on the idea
for some spice and passion (turn up the burners and get the stove going)… on
the up coming elections and next exchange? Could be about a multitude of
things besides the election itself, but related too the election, like how
the extreme wealth in power chips and whittles away at the average folks…
