Hi there! I've read this forum for awhile, but never
posted before. I have a question about a press I found
for sale, and wanted to know if anyone had any
experience with it.
This will be a first press for me, and the only reason
I'm considering it is because I am on a very tight
budget, so it's this press or none for quite awhile.
And if I should wait, well, I want to know since I
don't want to waste the money on something that won't
work. But I figured I would run it by you to get your
expertise! :)
It is an Italian import press

I am looking at getting the medium press for my relief
prints and monotypes I make...just woodblock, linocut,
etc. I am not going to be using the press for etching,
etc.
I know it probably pales in comparison to the big name
press companies, and though I'd love to own one of
those, I can't afford the cost at this time. However,
I would like your opinion on whether this would be a
good beginner investment for the next several years or
if you have had bad experieces with this type of
press, or know someone who has.
Thanks in advance for any info you could pass my
way...I greatly appreciate it! :)
