Dave, I really enjoyed reading the "conversation" between you and Mike Lyon
about the Aspen Grove print. It was just like being a fly on the wall (in a
master artist's studio), and really interesting to see your two different
perspectives on the project. I can't wait to see how it turns out--and I'm
looking forward to listening in on more conversations! :D

I'm very happy that both Mike and Gary agreed to let me put our
communication 'out in the open', because I too think it really adds
something to the print.

I'm sure that there are people who just want to see the image, and
don't have any interest in the back story, but I think that as years go
by, having that information on record will become more and more
interesting to viewers. Imagine if we had this kind of info available
from prints of 100 years ago!

The Aspen Grove blocks have arrived in Japan, and I'll be cutting some
paper tomorrow for a run of test printing over the following few days
(mixed in with other printing work that will be going on).

You say 'listening in', but please remember - that section of the
website is called 'Conversations' for a reason. Comments, viewpoints,
and especially _suggestions_ are very welcome. Anybody can use the
Comment forms (at the bottom of every posting) without registering.

P.S. As for the question/comment about credit cards:

It's very difficult for individuals to get a 'merchant account' here in
Japan, so Mokuhankan won't be able to take credit cards directly, but
Paypal is a simple way for any card holder to use that method of
payment.
