I did find exchange deadline information in the archives..
and with the two shows I've got way too much cutting planned for
I don't know how I would be able to make the #29 deadline....
so, following advice you gave to Mindy...
I would like to withdraw my vote....
my intense curiosity on the tails of a dog adventure made me speak too soon.

"We live in a modern techno-age were the nightly News are filled with
graphic stories of everyday tragedy, murder, terrorism, natural disasters,
worldwide-spreading-disease, etc....to the point that we sometimes
assimilate these horrors without much thought or even a single outspoken
word. Then we get on our super-pc's with our super-fast connections and in
a split second we are connected to a global network capable of bombarding
us with yet more horrific information. It is a blessing to be able to go
out to my studio, play with pieces of wood and paper and get away from all
of it, being at peace even if for just a short while. "

Julio I so agree. I stopped watching the news and avoid all the violence in
our world as much as I can. Perhaps I am just more sensitive to this type
of topic than many. But in todays world it is hard to ignore all of this
horrifc stuff. And it is the right and the privilege of the artist to send
out messages if they so choose. I have had a few frightening things happen
that when I think on this and our world I get rather emotionally upset. I
live in a small town. a man vanished and now his remains have been found in
a remote area, guess he was murdered. It comes home to all of us even when
we try our best to be at peace.
