I would say the pages are very large files...
rt now I have a v fast cable connection and it took over 1 and a half
minutes to load the page containing all the page links, and about 45
seconds to open page 1.
It may take a long tine to access thru a dialup modem.
Dog (and print!) lovers will go ape if they have the patience to wait.

Dave, I have had to bookmark the card site!
There are too many cards to take in one sitting. Anyone who missed it:

I know from the CWAJ Exhibiton catalogues that woodblock prints are still a major artform in Japan, but these cards bring home the fact that woodblocks are also a popular craft. Obviously there is a language divide that keeps much woodblock activity obscure from the Baren Forum. These little windows into Japanese printmaking are very interesting.

I gather that Woodlike Matsumura and Sadako Ishizaki are the people that provide the link to Japan for the Baren members through the Baren mall. I recommend the mall to anyone who wants to try moku hanga - as distinct from the oily stuff.
