I tried Faust black ink a year ago when I was setting up my studio and
wanted to use water based inks. I also tried Daniel Smith lamp black, Graphic
Chemical black and lamp black.

I found Faust the least desirable of the three. I was using the black on my
key block after applying colors and it did the worst job. The Daniel Smith and
Graphic Chemical lamp blacks were both good but the Graphic Chemical was
extremely stiff without using additive. It was great for transferring images
from the key block via newsprint to the other blocks.
