Hello my friends!
I just got some Faust ink in the mail. They sent it to me (at the art store) to test out. It is call "Aqualine" ink. Apparently it is supposed to be a water-based etching ink, but it has some testimonials from people that have used it for block printing, and collographs. Linocuts and some wood blocks.
Have any of you heard of this "aqualine" ink? I have heard of the company, I have seen their presses. Prices are pretty good on this. from around 13.95 to 16.75 for 1 lb containers. It is non toxic.
I will check it out tonight on some of my blocks and pass the word along. If any of you have already tried it, please let me know what you think.
Cheers,
Rob
