Hello,
My name is Chris Bogert and I've been subscribed to
barenforum for quite awhile now but never have posted
anything. I'll just introduce my self at least. I'm
still a student currently attending Evergreen State
college right outside of Olympia, Washington, and
going into my fourth year as an art student. I work
mostly with watercolors, and woodblock printing using
the Japanese techniques. So far I haven't had alot of
public exposure. I've had a couple of group showings
in Spokane. This last quarter here at Evergreen I
created a contract to work with a printmaking teacher
here to produce a series of woodblock prints, study
the history behind Japanese woodblock prints and get
16 credits for it. I'm going to put a website together
sometime in the near future for my artwork and will
post the address whenever I get around to that.
Anyway, I figured I should say hello instead of
lurking in the corner finally.

I had two kids attend Evergreen - one graduated from there a lot of years
ago and I have a young friend attending now. Her name is Adrienne
Wittenberg - wonderful young lady interested in drama. It is a great and
unusual school. Bea Gold
Welcome, Chris... You are in good company, among lovers of relief
printmaking...

Welcome from another art student. I wonder how many other students there are
checking in. I encouraged those at the University of Northern Iowa but don't
know if I got any takers.
