Hello, all...
I mostly read quietly, with nothing much to contribute yet.
The purchase of official knives from the BarenMall definitely changed my
woodcutting abilities.
I'm trying to get me up and running as "artist", and know that in order to
help raise my own stock, I must learn to make a little noise about what I
get involved in...so, here goes....
Two of my woodcuts are in the current Devils&Dolls show at the WomanMade
Gallery in Chicago through February 24.

is the link to the title piece, and

is a link to the other, although these will change sooner or later due to my
habit of posting work now and then.
THIS is the place, and you guys are the ones I "listened" to while figuring
out how this worked.
NOW, my next big challenge is how to print in color...multiple blocks. I
don't think I'm ready for the Japanese way of doing it, although that is no
doubt down the line for me. I've got this idea in my head of a block for
each color.
I'm presently stumped with trying to figure out how to approach this.
I haven't yet looked in the archives yet about this....and I've still got
much looking at other work printed in multiple blocks.
Funny, registration is not one of my concerns....it's the wondering what to
do first in order to make sure the cuts for each color all fit together
nicely, or at least be close, that has my brain sweating a little.
Anyway...thanks....Linda
