David Bull and all others interested in making a DVD. I do not have a
studio that you can use, I do not have a lot of skill to give for a video,
but I do have time. Today I was looking for grant monies to run a summer
program for art for our rural children here on this Washington peninsula.
Somewhere, and I cannot remember which site, but am sure it can be found
again, I found monies for making videos or DVD's. Not sure if this was just
for the US, but am thinking there must be something for international
development in the arts. Would you be interested in grant money to further
this project? I would happily look for areas that are available, but have
NO experience writing grants. It would seem to me if we had monies for
development we could get more exposure for printmaking. We might be able to
produce more and have it made for schools and universities. It might be a
wider educational opportunity. If you think on it just having this list has
taught many Hanga and furthered woodblock printmaking and knowledge of it
tremendeously. Perhaps a DVD could go one step further if it was dispersed
to educators or even the media for use as specials in the arts on TV. WOW
what a thought we could find out one of us is a TV star. Well why not shoot
high and aim for a big star?

I have volunteered to edit the dvd and author it. I'm new to the
group and would like to do "MY" part for the group. We could edit
still photos and video...plus have voice over. I could even see a
how-to for a multi-block print. I am able to do all the "pro" type
effects. I could really see this as a great project!
Hope to help
