Greetings Bareners;
Thank you for the generous comments on my latest prints. I do appreciate them.
Jeanne : Autographic prints may be an old fashioned English expression I use from my past.. just as fellow (young) printmakers grin at my expression of being a letterpress printer. As far as I know autographic prints are hand made limited edition prints in either the serigraph,intaglio,lithograph or relief format that are autographed (signed) by the designer/maker/printer. I may update the words soon!

Exhibition Tour of A B Webb Exhibition....

I have taken your advice and written a letter to Janda Gooding who was
actually the Curator of the Exhibition rather than writing to the
Director of the Art Gallery.

I will perhaps give you more details of my letter in time, but for
now.... one paragraph reads:

"For most of the general public or a group of young school children
maybe this tour was satisfactory, but for those interested in Art
History, Printmaking or technical information on woodblock printing
this tour was not very professional and these details were not
forthcoming."

If I get a reply I will give you more details of the outcome.

Bette a big thank you for the Surinomo exchange and the deck of cards. What
a thrill to get 2 sets of prints at once. Thank you for getting them to me
before we leave, it is much appreciated. Also thanks for your hard work and
the wonderful folder for the exchange. Also love the box for the deck of
cards, beautiful.
Harry, somehow my email to Baren did not get through yesterday, so here is
a big thanks for your web page. I love your work and like your page just as
it is. It is easy to see the work and navigate it.

Here I thought I was launching on a brand new type of printmaking.
Autographic is a good term, one which I have not heard since now.
