The Albion press is a much loved printing press in England and my pupils in the 60's were privileged to use one during their printmaking sessions. It was so grand in design that pupils preferred to draw it than print with it. The school's Albion Press used to print the Stamford (Lincs.UK) Chronicle Newspaper in the 19th century, but alas its weight and safety hazard meant it had to be taken away.
Andi, I saw one in full operation printing letterheadings and posters in Newark (Notts. UK) Museum. if you are concerned about what is missing it may be worth a visit. Check first Albion Presses have a habit of disappearing overnight...well you know what I mean!
