Hoooo....God? Not quite (or even close) but I *can* change your
settings. I'll go do that for you right now!

The Baren page of Printmakers on the Web is being updated. Anyone interested should go to
http://www.barenforum.org/encyclopedia/entries/017_01/017_01_frame.html
and fill in the information so your website can be listed and a print displayed.

Some of the present listings are out of date, those already listed please check to see if your information is current.

Darrell,

Many many thanks for helping out with this! It's so nice to see that
section being updated at last!

I should mention to everybody that Darrell actually offered to do this
updating work _months_ ago, but his note to me got lost in the shuffle
of junk on my electronic desktop. He didn't give up so easily though,
and is now beavering away over there on the Encyclopedia pages.

Thank you!

Dave
P.S. If you have 'time on your hands', and have any kind of web
building or just general organizational skills, there are other jobs
waiting to be done ... The 'Activities' section of the website is
pretty moribund for one, and then there is the possibility of a
Calendar project for next year. If we're going to do _that_ we've got
to get started pretty soon!

'Nothin' to do' this summer? :-)

OK, a few 'testers' have had a go at it, and everything seems to be
working, so it's time to let the rest of you have a try ... The
woodblock.com 'Artist as Psychologist' quiz is ready for you!

Good luck!

Darrell,
my website is under reconstruction. How do I list a URL?
Do we list only one print?
Thank you,
Mary Ann

You can send the website address even if it is under construction. If you go to your site you can copy the address (URL) from your browser.
On the Baren page a small version of one print is shown, and when it is clicked the larger version pops up; and there will be a link to your complete website.
Let me know if you need further help.

Darrell.

I took the quiz and got most of them right. I love
"Love that Rarely Meets." Her hair arrangement is so
intricate and lovely. Beautiful job!

I noticed the tasteful window that displayed your
jpegs, David, and I am wondering if I am the first to
ask about the mounting techniques of Japanese Prints.
I know that they can be collected in albums and
mounted in books but the process of mounting some on a
brocade scroll is still somewhat of a mystery. Are
there any books around describing the process? In
keeping the scrolls rolled up, does the rolling damage
the print or cause a permanant rolling effect in the
paper fibers?
