We are a free country and wish to remain so -- and some degree of vigilance
is called for to protect that freedom.

Do you have a brand name for the "power grip" tools? Or is that the brand
name?

It's unfortunate that one of our members feels to compelled to drop off the
list because of the recent posts concerning Steven Kurtz and the Critical
Art Ensemble.

Occasionally on this list we do get off topic and I have myself complained
about this, when the discussion went on much too long and seemed to be way
off topic. But the current issue is one of those cross-over issues, where
art and politics meet. After all, we are talking about an artist group and
the position of artists in our culture. I subscribe to a number of art
lists, all of which have taken up this issue, including Prints-L. It has
in fact become an issue of international concern among artists and curators.
