If no one is yet aware, there has been a W32 (worm)
virus attached to baren emails. Everyone should run
their Norton cleaner or whatever you have, as the W32
will invade your entire email box and your addressbook
and come to all of us. I am just now getting my email
operating again to alert you.
You can go to Microsoft website for help on
eradicating it from your system.

Jim, Sarah and all who have a show....
I think we love to know our friends are successfully showing their work, even if it is not always printmaking. After all, artists do lots of stuff and I love to see it all.
Sharri LaPierre has a great show at Print Arts Northwest now, all moku hanga prints. She was inspired by the Helen Frankenthaller show we recently had at the art museum here and her work is non objective large shapes with the blocks assembled from shapes of wood that have been attached to a matrix. It is pretty impressive. We will try to get pictures up before it is over. All the pieces are large so it was hard to print. She said she started out planning on 25 of each, settled for 5 and got two or three good ones. This stuff is hard to do and large is even harder! Congratulations on a great exhibit, Sharri!
Best to all,
Barbara
Partial printmaking news: I have 2 woodblock prints and 4 photocollages on exhibit at the Walkers Point Center for the Arts, sponsored by the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. There is no web connection to the show though. So, this is my own advertisement.
