O.K., now I understand. Tis I who did the scanning, but not I who posted them to the Baren page, twas David. I know I sent the correct scan 'cause I pulled them straight from the stack ------------------------------ From: "Bea Gold" Date: Sun, 28 Jul 2002 09:28:09 -0700 Subject: [Baren 18818] Re: Question? Thanks Dan A couple of things - A while back Jeanne Norman Chase was having problems with and asking about mold because of her very humid climate in Florida. I smartly said we don't have that problem in arid California and then a whole edition of prints were ruined by mold because I left the paper in moist plastic to long. I dumped the lot in the trash can! Someone said I should have put them in the sunlight to get rid of the mold. Anyone try that? Since then I always freeze the stack if I'm not going to print right away. On another note - I always have problems with getting slides of prints for jurying. I just found a place on line that will make slides from digital files. I haven't tried yet but it sounds like a great way to get slides from digital photos of work. I'm going to photograph a whole load and send them in. http://www.prodigitalphotos.com/ Bea Gold ------------------------------ From: Dan Dew Date: Sun, 28 Jul 2002 17:58:38 -0400 Subject: [Baren 18819] Scan To whom it may concern: I have re-scanned B. This just came over another list. I know nothing of the press except that this one is too far away! ~Sharen - --------------- I have a FREE Vandercook 13-28 press available for immediate removal. This press is on ground level in San Jose, CA. It is free to the first person to come and get it before August 10. I am moving and need to have the press moved or junked. This press is NOT a traditional cylinder press. It has a hard rubber impression roller and four inking rollers on an automatic chain drive. The bed size is 13x28. I have the manual from NA graphics, but have not taken the time to figure out how it works. This press is about 700lbs.
