I am sorry to be a little slow but why would people make 13 prints?  Aren't
there 12 months in a year?  Is the extra print for a cover?

Also, if more than 13 people wanted to make a calendar - say 26 people
wanted to do it - then we could have 2 groups.

I think this is a good idea, what about a calendar with three months on
one page? Then we would only need four prints for each year, say by
seasons. That would make it easier and the number of prints more
managable. Each person doing four prints would get one calendar back,
and so on. If we get an uneven number of people some will have to do an
extra print, but we are still talking 7 at the most. Surely we do not
need to archive these too, after all, we only have so much energy and
who would want to see out of date calendars anyway? Of course I plan to
save mine.

Hi all,

I have been busy and quiet lately but could use some help.  I have the =
honor to have been asked to be artist in residence at the Leigh Yawkey =
Woodson Art Museum in December.  I will be teaching the woodcut process =
in the public schools, instructing adults during lunch workshops, and =
giving after school demonstrations.  Quite enough to keep me busy but =
the staff would also like me to give a walk through talk in the =
galleries.  Now here is where I could use some help with from the =
scholars out there.  The show they will have installed is of Asian =
pottery and they would like to tie it in with my woodcuts by having me =
talk generally about the influence of Asian art.  Can anyone recommend =
books or articles I might read to sharpen my perceptions?

Thanks to everyone who posted on the cleanup and use of brushes and my many
other inquiries. Congratulations to
all of those published on the printmaking book by Lark, I guess more of us
should have sent them stuff  :-(   Question. I
suppose Mr. Munch, Mr. Gaugin and the other older bareners in the book won't be
receiving any payment or royalties
for having their images published....but what about some of the younger kids
like Mr. Picasso ?...would Lark have to ask permission from his estate to
publish the images (and pay them accordingly) or would Picasso's work be in the
public domain (whatever that means....) and could it be used freely ???? Besides
that 50 year rule.....does it work like in the music industry where someone can
buy the rights to your song and receive future royalties ???  Could some of
Picasso's work
be free domain and some not...based on age ?

I enjoyed your work, there is a mistake in your address, it should be a period
after the www not a /    Your main page is way to slow to load, can you make
this piece 56K instead of 356K? It will make a world of difference in people
sticking around long enough to look at your work. The rest was not slow to load.
