Graphic Chemical, Rembrandt, and Renaissance all carry Resingrave. I don't
know who manufactures the stuff, but you might post in the MTSU list and I
bet a few U.K. suppliers will be happy to work with you.

Alternatively, you can always breed and raise resins in a very small pen
suitable for an apartment. Getting the resin on the block to lie down just
perfectly is a trick best left for professionals, though.

Dear Mike,

The Birch plywood we offer is about the same as Baltic Birch plywood.
Anyway, it comes mostly from Russian forests all around the country.
It's  a beautiful stuff.
We have it 1/2' = 9 layers and 3/4" = 13 layers, all Birch.

We didn't reply your question the very same day just because we decided
to experiment with it a little bit.

We dipped a block 4"x6", 1/2" thick into initially hot water for a day,
then dried it out.

Two days later we realized that nothing happened to that piece.
No lifting, no cracking. Nothing.
Looks as good as it was before.

I gave it my daughter to carve on.
She said she couldn't feel any difference to compare to other blocks.

We do not intend to use those blocks for roofing the houses in Oregon,
but they  should be OK  for your purposes.
